Luxury Townhomes in Rincon Valley
Streamside is a luxury planned unit development on the western edge of Rincon Valley near Hwy 12. It consists of approx. 50 “duet” units. Most homes share a garage wall but are otherwise detached from the neighboring home.
Streamside is unusual in that it is the only development in Rincon Valley (that I can think of) where the front of the homes need to be accessed by foot. There is no street that runs through part of the development, rather there is a greenway of grass and mature trees. Guests need to park on adjacent streets and walk to the front door through a park like setting. Owners can drive behind the their individual units to access their attached garage. It is unusual, but I like the look and idea of it. The photo below shows the greenbelt.
With the exception of how owners may have modified their homes, generally they all have the following characteristics:
1500 + sq ft
3 bedrooms with 3 baths
Built in media center
Granite counter tops
Close to US 101, shopping, SR bus
As of the writing of this article, there is no record that a home has sold in this development since 2012. In 2012 only 4 homes sold in the $250,000 range. 3 of those were distressed sales.
