Buckthorn Court is a quaint little development located in the heart of Rincon Valley. It is located on a quiet street off the Sonoma Highway, with easy access to shopping, transportation, schools, parks and the wine country. The homes are modest sized and the prices are very reasonable.
Buckthorn Court was built in 1984 and consists of 28 attached homes surrounded by beautifully landscaped common area. Giant Eucalyptus, lawns, flowering bushes, plants and trees make this a nature lovers delight. The homes are built with shingle exteriors which gives each home a cottage look. There is no pool, clubhouse, play structures or association management on the property. Most of the homes are located on Indian Creek Drive, and some on Buckthorn Court.
Each home is 1246 sq ft, 2 bedroom, 2 bath, single story, and all have the same floor plan. The front doors have a covered entryway, and each home has a spacious patio. Each home has an unattached garage that is reasonably close to the front door.
The price in the Buckthorn Court development seems very reasonable especially considering how infrequently these homes come on the market. As of this post, the last sale was in 2013. That unit sold for $285,000. A survey of the MLS, shows that only 4 homes have sold there in the last 4 years.
Buckthorn Court is governed by the Buckthorn Court Homeowner’s Association and managed by: Management for HOA’s 707.792.4925. There are HOA dues, CC&R’s and rules and regulations that govern living there.
